Kalani Koa is a Hawaiian Contemporary band from Oahu that includes lead vocalist, Aukai Kekoa; Gabriel Miller, lead guitarist; Kaohu Detwiler, bassist and back up vocals; Kupono Detwiler, back-up guitarist; Kainoa Rallita, drums; and Hideki Aoki, key boards and back up vocals.
Kalani Koa entered Band Champ as a way to remember their senior year of high school before each headed their separate ways; some to continue their passion for music, others to college as well as careers as firefighters and pilots.
